One card that can confuse many people is The World. Many see it and think it means what goes around comes around, or we end where we began, but neither of these assumptions is accurate.
The World card pictures a dancer with a circle of laurel leaves on her head; this circle symbolizes the great Mother through which everything is born. The World card can also be the doorway to the next life after death. There are many meanings to this card, and many of them depend on where the card appears in a spread, one of the most common meanings is completion. The World card represents a successful conclusion to something; all aspects are accounted for and taken in. In other words this card tells the seeker that the end to a long-term project is in sight, and that it will be accompanied by well earned praise, celebration, and success.
As with all the cards where it is in the spread will determine the actual meaning or interpretation of the card based on the seekers question, however, the most common meaning of this card regardless of where the card is in the spread is as follows. The goal you have been working so hard to accomplish is about to come to you. All your hard work, frustration, knowledge, and patience is about to pay off. If you have been working towards that PhD or waiting for that special someone to be there it is all about to happen for you.
The World card at times has also been described as the nomad card due to the fact that sometimes the meaning of this card can indicate that the reason you feel so comfortable anywhere you go is because anywhere you go is now home. It can also indicate that if a person owns nothing it is because the world is yours to do what you will with it.

Hi. :) Saw your blog. I am Alwin, from Malaysia, nice to meet you. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm still new to the function of this blog, I don't know where to type about my situation, so I just type it here. Sorry for the trouble. :(
I did a reading regarding a reconciliation with a girl I really loved. We broke up on around May, and then got back together for a short period of time, and then broke up again. But on Mid May or nearing June, we both missed each other and we texted each other often. The problem was that she said I seem to be neglecting her and ignoring her a lot, which I defended a lot that that wasn't the case as I am doing my revising. And her view was that if a good boyfriend really care for her, he will find what ever time just for her. She's a very private person, yet preplexing. She don't really show her true feelings to people, but only to her old high-school mates and very close friends. She got me deleted on twitter, but not on facebook. She deleted her ex from facebook, saying that she don't wanted to show "how good she was living" to him, while she was with me(we didn't showcase any of those on it anyway...which is the reason she think that I don't really love her, saying that she's the one who's approaching me first and I am not the one making the move.). Our last arguement, escalated to something not that pleasant, where she deleted me from twitter, and saying that I don't even look like her friend, owing this reason to my ignorance to her when she wanted talk and company, but I was out that particular day..and it really is one bad luck... Even the 3rd party that brought us together, had a fight with her and their friendship was in jeopardy. I lost the only person that I can really turn to, in order to know her more.
So these came out
1.Present situation: Justice
2.Challenge: Lovers
3.Past: 9 of pentacles
4.The future(Represents what is likely to occur within the next few weeks or even months.): The Star
5. Above(the querent’s goal, aspiration or best outcome with regards to the situation.): The Chariot
6.Below(within the subconscious realm of the querent and delves much deeper into the core foundation of the situation. It symbolises the underlying feelings and trends associated with the situation and can indicate what is truly driving the querent.): 8 of swords
7.Advice: 8 of swords
8.External influence: King of wands
9.Hopes and fear: 4 of cups
10.Outcome: 5 of pentacles
I further drew out a card for the 4th position, and it turned out to be 10 of cups.
A few more for the tenth position, being 9 of wands, knave of pentacles, and the devil.
Would like to hear from you as soon as possible....:( Sigh..... I really loved her and I wish to know the advice that this spread have to offer to me. ;(.. PLEASE HELP.
