Choosing a “daily RUNE”-

The word RUNE means secret, whisper & mystery. Each RUNE has a particular significance and, depending on whether you choose it and subsequently lay it on a table/ground “upright” or “reversed”, you will be able to address an “issue” and use the RUNE’s meaning to “trigger” your own subconscious as how to deal with the situation. Some RUNES can be read both in their “Upright” (which is toward you) or “Reversed “ (reading away from you); some are in the same mode at the same time -upright AND reversed - no matter how you turn it or place it down.

REVERSED: When a RUNE is not toward the reader, but reads reversed, upside-down, it is noted as REV. The REV meaning differs from upright as being the opposite flowing energies and is a clue in Life’s ebb & flow. Nine RUNES look the same upright or reversed. These have challenges too, which are indicated for the REV meaning. Those Nine Runes are: THORN/THURISAZ (gateway); GIFU/GEBO (partnership/gift); HAGAL (disruption); IS/ISA (standstill); JERA (harvest/year); EOTT/EIWAZ (defense/endings); SIGEL/SOWEL (wholeness/victory); ING/INGUEZ (fertility/beginnings); DAEG/DAGAZ (breakthrough/awakening.

Unlike other forms of divination, when a RUNE is in REV, either by being placed or in their own meaning as a symbol, the reversed meaning doesn’t necessarily have to be a “negative” attribute; rather, it sends up a type of “alert” as if to say, ‘you need to pay special attention to this’, or, ‘this is an area you need to caution against as you move forward’, etc. No matter what direction the RUNE is in, it ALWAYS acts as a teacher, a method of instruction, a reminder of what we are doing or thinking, and as a guide. Your OWN interpretation and seeking your OWN consul when doing a “reading” for yourself is of utmost importance.

Choosing a RUNE each day (before starting each day’s routine) is a good way to find out what you need to “pay attention to” for the day. Before you start, ask yourself, “What will today bring?” or “What energies are flowing my way?” Then, you can either place all the RUNES face down on a surface and move them around with your hands while not looking at the symbols, and THEN pick one that your energy draws you to; or, you can put them all in a bag and move them around within the bag until you randomly feel the urge to pick one out. Either way, the RUNE will pick YOU by what will be the best one for the day.

I encourage people to keep a notebook, or a journal, if you will, of the RUNE picked each day. It is especially important to make a note of the date, and the RUNE you chose, with a brief meaning for that RUNE. It’s also a good idea to keep a small pocket notebook or pad with you during the day, so that any thoughts or events that occur during the day can be noted at the end of the day in your daily journal for the RUNE you picked. You will be amazed at the clarity that comes from this. It’s incredibly meaningful if you happen to pull the SAME RUNE for several days in the same week/month/etc. By keeping a journal, you will be able to follow a pattern and gain even MORE insight as to what is going on with you

A Past Life Reading and A Clearing

It was the mid 1600’s and I saw an exceptionally ugly man. He was dressed in the full regalia of a pilgrim. He had a very large, bulbous nose and I noticed the skin on his face was terribly pockmarked and had red splotches all over it. He was definitely not a pretty sight. I could see his reflection in a pond and I felt sorry for him and yet I found myself hating him for being so ugly. I would tell myself that looks are not important, they are only skin deep, but I knew no one would ever want him for a husband.

The parents, along with another couple, arranged for this man to marry a young woman whose husband, not long before, had died at sea. Since there were not many men in town and they didn't want their daughter to be alone, so this ugly man was chosen. I could tell he didn't know how to feel about the arranged marriage at first because he didn't want her to think that he was some kind of monster because of his looks. She was an attractive girl, who made the man even more insecure, but he convinced himself that if she could get past his looks, she might actually come to know him and love him, so a few weeks later they were married.

A couple of weeks after marrying this girl, the ugly man found out that she was pregnant. He then found out that she was already pregnant when they had married. The girl also confessed that the father was her dead husband. The ugly man was so angry, and felt betrayed and used because no one had told him she was pregnant before they had been married. Everyone assumed that he would be so grateful to be married that he would just accept her and her baby. That was not to be the case.

The mans anger got the best of him and he put his hands around her throat and choked her to death before he even realized what he was doing. He buried her and was so distraught over what he had done, he ended up taking his own life as well.

During this past life reading I discovered that ‘I’ was actually the ugly man. I have been able to relate to this ugly man as far back as I can remember. While I was in high school, I was overweight. I would go to dances, and none of the boys would dance with me. I would go home and look in the mirror and tell myself over and over again, how ugly I was and no one would ever want me.

I also discovered that my 'wife' in that past life is my 'brother' in this lifetime. Many of the people in this lifetime have been with us in previous lives.

Because of my ability to see this past life, I have been able to compare it to feelings and emotions I have experienced in this life and I now believe that my understanding of this past life has given me the tools and opportunity to heal the hurt and anger I have carried over from my past life into this one.

Runes - What do they signify?

Have you ever heard of RUNES and what they signify? Have you ever been curious about this area of divination? This seems like a good place to share some information with you about RUNES. I will use this forum to introduce you to the “world of RUNES” by giving you a brief bit of background info; and then later, through other articles on this sight, explore what each RUNE represents. I hope you find it interesting and that it will encourage you to dig deeper, ask questions, make comments, and feel compelled to learn more about this fascinating area of metaphysics.
In Divination - regardless of the tools - and in this case, using RUNES, works because in the system one is using the individual Rune represents the whole in some unified way. At the moment of 'random' mixing, because of intent, the Runes order themselves to mirror the reality of the seeker.
Runic divination, "Rune casting", is not "fortune telling". Rune casting works deeply with the subconscious. The Rune pouch with its runic symbols represents the entire universe. As one poses a question, one's entire conscious and unconscious mind is focused toward that question, so that the Rune lots selected are not truly random selections, but rather choices made by the subconscious.
Rune craft operates on an ancient form of psychology. Even back in Viking times, there was a remarkable understanding of the human psyche. They recognized cause and effect, and the interconnectedness of all things. The word to describe this interconnectedness was "wyrd", which was eventually perverted into the modern meaning of "weird". It did not originally mean something unusual or strange. Rather, it referred to the far-reaching effects of that which one does. The concept of "fate" was also not as we know it now. Instead of a helpless predestination, "fate" meant a destiny created by one's earlier actions. Wyrd was pictured as a web, like that of a spider. The symbolism is excellent. When the spider steps onto a thread (a path) the vibrations affect the entire web and that which is contained within the web, just as our actions affect our immediate world and those around us, and the actions of others affect our lives.
When one does a runic reading, one usually addresses a particular issue, and examines the past, the present and the "future", or rather "what will be if one follows the path one appears to be on". The future is always perceived as mutable, and/or changeable. The runic reading is done as an evaluation process, not as a fortune-telling session. One has an opportunity to look at what has occurred in the past (regarding the issue being questioned), what is occurring right now, and what direction one is headed. A Rune Caster does not see the future. He/she examines cause and effect and points out a likely outcome.
It is a methodology for examining the path one is on and what the effects might be, by making use of one's subconscious (i.e. an "intuitive perception"), unfettered by limited conscious belief systems. It is a manifestation of one's subconscious. All "intuitive perception" is such.

Alternative Healings - The Light of Johrei

Johrei is the practice and process of sharing universal energy for the benefit of all. Johrei was introduced to America in 1953, and Johrei Fellowship centers exist throughout the United States. The impetus for all the activities of the Johrei Fellowship is the inspiration of one man, Mokichi Okada, who was born in Japan on December 23, 1882. In his later life those around him, who recognized his vision for a new civilization and worked to bring it about, called him Meishu-sama which could be translated as "Master of Light."

Mokichi Okada’s inspired writings are practical, simple teachings of common sense that offer guidance in order to achieve health, spiritual up-liftment and happiness. Johrei has been compared to Reiki, which also had its’ beginnings in Japan. They are similar in many ways but Johrei works with the energy of fire while Reiki works with the energy of water. Johrei also takes healings a step further into the understanding that we all can increase our health and happiness by bringing beauty into our lives and eating naturally grown foods.

In his lifetime, Mokichi Okada built and inspired the creation of magnificent art museums, filled with inspirational art pieces that he collected. He believed that all art of a higher inspiration or vibration should be shared with everyone and not just cloistered within the collections of the privileged few. He designed exquisite gardens and structures that he envisioned as prototypes of an ideal community. In addition to the art museums and exquisite gardens, Mokichi Okada started ‘Nature Farming’ which is now not only being practiced in Japan but all over the world.

Johrei’s healing energy is given by a Johrei practitioner directing that energy through the palm of the hand at various parts of the body. There is no ‘laying on of hands’ as there is in Reiki. Although Johrei can be received where ever you are – you do not have to be within the immediate vicinity of the practitioner – one is encouraged to receive Johrei at a Johrei Center as the vibrational energy is much greater and has a much more profound effect on the receiver.

Life is What You Make It

My most important belief comes from my Mom. She said "Life is what you make it."

My parents taught me the important values of Honesty, Integrity, Loyalty, Love, Family values and Commitment. I believe all of these can be summed up in "Life is what you make it." First of all I believe GOD is our stronghold for these values and helps up to follow, learn and obey so that each of us can place these core values in our lives. Our greatest gift is to instill these in each other, in our children and in our youth.

Believing in ourselves that we are strong enough to make the choices that are best for us and everyone involved is hard. As long as we make choices that do not hurt anyone physically or emotionally, we are doing our best. We can become better people, more giving and loving, more helpful, more understanding of each other and we can change our habits if we are willing to take the step to make life better. Whatever the challenge or obstacle, we have the help from GOD to carry us thru and guide us and teach us HIS will. We can overcome anything if we ask for direction and listen. HIS promise to us is that the same circumstance will never happen to us again if we trust in HIM and follow HIS lead. I believe your head, and your choices, follow your heart. Keep your heart clear and clean and your choices will be the same. Keep honesty, as your most important choice and the rest will come. Life IS what you make it as long as you are willing to take responsibility for your actions and make it a long and lasting journey.

Spirit Guide Information

We are all given gifts from the Universe. One of these gifts is our Spirit Guides. These are Spirits and Beings that are here to help us through our experience we call Life. We have Angels, Ascended Masters, people who have passed on that we would recognize as being famous, people who were in our present life or a past life with us. There are Spirits who are only here temporarily to help us with a certain part of our life, and Spirits who will be with us throughout our entire life to watch over and guide us. All we have to do is ask for their help. How do we know they are with us? Sometimes, we get a ‘feeling’ about something and other times we can actually hear what they have to say. It may sound like a little voice in our head we think is our own, or we get that ‘gut feeling’ and we know just what to do, that is Spirit talking to us. Sometimes, they just make things happen to us or for us. If asked, Spirits will intervene whenever we are in need of guidance, assurance or assistance.

Each of us has the ability to see and talk to our Spirit Guides. The reason most of us do not see or talk to them is because of our many beliefs, disbeliefs, reasons and excuses. These can come from our childhood or from our adulthood experiences, but they are all based on some type of fear. It is not necessary to know any of our Guide’s names, but most of us feel more comfortable being able to talk to someone with a name or maybe a picture of them in our minds eye. We may not see or hear them, but we know they are with us and they are connected to us. How many times have we heard someone say “If only I had listened to myself” or “If only I had paid attention to my gut feeling things would have been different”? These are our Angels and Guides talking to us! It is helpful just to know that we have all these wonderful helpers around us at all times.

For more information on Angels, Spirit Guides and learning how we are connected to them, or how we can connect to them, visit our website at http://www.fromme2youonline.com/.

Rune Readings

I consider myself to be a Renaissance Woman who has lived many lifetimes previous to this 58 year lifetime.
In 1981, as a “newbie” entering what was then called THE NEW AGE movement, I was introduced to Runes by Ralph Blum, author of The Book of Runes. This was the beginning of my true spiritual growth and my journey for self-change. For the past 25+ years I have studied various forms of divination on my quest for a way to get in touch with my inner self. I have developed a way of looking at situations more clearly and also am able to solve practical, everyday problems without resorting to forms of fortune-telling. Using the Runes of the Elder Futhark provides me with an Oracle I can use to access information directly from my higher self.

When I am asked to read “Runes”, I rely on my personal Viking Spirit Guide to direct me to the appropriate Rune spread to use for the reading. Even though a client may have a certain personal issue or agenda he/she expects to address, I purposely choose NOT to ask what the issue is; the Rune(s) chosen always seems to be the “correct” Rune(s) for that question, issue and/or point in time. It’s fascinating how a Rune always addresses an issue that sometimes has been hidden and isn’t really the intended focus of the client.

For more information, I invite you to visit our website at: http://www.fromme2youonline.com/ where you can experience and explore more information on RUNES.

Reiki – A Transformational Alternative Healing Method

Reiki is a Japanese technique for relaxation and the reduction of stress thereby promoting healing. It is administered by a Reiki practitioner through the "laying on hands" and is rooted in the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through each of us and this “life force energy” is what determines life. It’s this "life force energy" that determines both our physical and emotional stability. If our “energy” is low, then we are more likely to feel stress or become ill, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.
Dr. Mikao Usui is the founder of the Reiki system of natural healing. Reiki is a combination of two Japanese words - Rei means "God's Wisdom” or “Higher Power" and Ki means "Life Force Energy". The practice of Reiki is actually "spiritually guided life force energy." While Reiki is not considered to be a religion, it still imparts a need to live and act in a way that promotes a harmony with ones self and others. Reiki has no dogma attached to its principals and there are no religious beliefs you must believe in order to learn or practice Reiki. Reiki will work whether you believe in it or not because Reiki comes from a Higher Power outside of oneself.
Reiki classes are available to those seeking a simple, natural and safe method of spiritual healing and self-improvement, but it is not taught in the usual sense. It is transferred to a student through an “attunement” given by a Reiki Master during a Reiki class. It has been taught to people of all ages and backgrounds and its use is not dependent on one's intellectual capacity or spiritual development and therefore is available to everyone. One of the most popular forms for Reiki Practitioners is practicing Reiki with Angels. Practitioners using this method follow the same format as regular practitioners but with the added benefit of calling on specific angels to assist them. Reiki has been proven to be effective in helping virtually every known illness as it works in conjunction with medical and therapeutic techniques to relieve symptoms, side effects and promote recovery. Many recipients of a Reiki treatment have stated that they feel a wonderful energy or glowing radiance that flows through and around them. They also report they feel relaxed and less stressful after a session. Reiki is designed to treat the entire person as a complete entity. This includes the body, the mind and the spirit.

Love and Do No Harm

We experience the energy of Love in our lives in many different ways and each has something important to tell us about ourselves and our inner health. Using love as a universal energy for spiritual self-discovery we have the power to transform ourselves and our planet. This transformation demands we accept love as the opportunity to grow into our own greatest potential while maintaining the balance of the whole. It also implies we are completely responsible for ourselves to grow into our greatness. At the same time we are responsible to support the growth of all other living things and to Do No Harm. The energy of love involves more than just taking, it requires we give back as much, or more, than we have absorbed in order to keep the system in balance. When we take more than we give, the system is depleted thereby throwing it out of balance. Once one system is out of balance it then affects all other systems. This principle is true not only for our selves but is true for every living organism and for our planet and our universe. Therefore, it is imperative we use the energy influences of love to give us the inner strength to live in those ways that are most harmonious with all other life and Do No Harm!

Thank you for sharing your time with Me.

I wish you, and all those you love, a life without Harm.

I Believe - Do No Harm

What would you give to know that the path you are currently traveling is the one you are supposed to be on? We live in a time when we can use all the information and guidance available to us. Each time you question your purpose, your gift or your reason for being here, know that it is an opportunity to discover compassion, understanding and joy in yourself and be assured you are loved unconditionally.

I Believe it doesn’t matter if you believe in the teachings of Jesus Christ, Muhammad, Buddha, Hari Krishna or Meishu-sama as your personal teacher, we are also blessed with an entire angelic realm ready to share and help us understand the nature of our existence along with providing direct guidance for our everyday lives. I Believe many of us are searching for a spirituality and universal doctrine of truth that is uniquely and authentically our own. I Believe we are being taught by more than just religious teachers – we are being nurtured and inspired by our Mother Earth and our deeper Self. Each of us knows that Truth is Truth and that my truth may be stated differently from your truth, but the underlying sacred truth is the same. I Believe that the one basic truth of all truths is “Do No Harm”. I Believe that one truth supercedes all others as it is directed not only to others, but to ourselves as well. I Believe that if everyone were to practice just this one truth we would heal ourselves, our friends, our neighbors, our community, our city, our state, our country and our planet.

Thank you for sharing your time with Me. I wish you, and all those you love, a life without Harm!
